MEET ZACH
A lifelong Ohioan, Dr. Zach Rossfeld and his wife Kara, a cancer surgeon, are raising their two children in Clintonville. Public service is in Zach’s DNA and he is running for the people; for the public good.
If Ohio is the Heart of it All, then providing for our children must be the start of it all. Rooted in his own public education and experiences as both a father and Nationwide Children’s-trained pediatrician, Zach will work unflaggingly to protect our kids. Access to child care and quality, funded public schools are the bedrock of his platform.
Professional Life
Zach’s professional life has been dedicated to health. He currently sees patients as an Associate Professor of Medicine at Ohio State and serves as an Assistant Medical Director for Ohio Medicaid. This dual role - literally with a finger on the pulse yet an outlet for shaping health policy - gives Dr. Rossfeld an invaluable perspective on how Ohioans are hassled to get the care they deserve.
